— What You Can Expect —

Divided in 1953 during the Korean War, the Korean peninsula is one of the world's most politically hostile regions. Whilst the threat remains a very real possibility, nowadays, the DMZ is best known for its educational tours to discover what is dividing the South and the North. The 4km-wide, 240km-long buffer zone known as the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) cuts across the Korean peninsula, separating North and South Korea and it is here you can learn more about Korea's recent history, as well as get a glimpse into secretive North Korea just a few kilometers away. The tour package includes transportation from and to Seoul, as well as a delicious local lunch. Furthermore, an expert, local English-speaking guide will be on hand to introduce the DMZ and its history to you and answer any questions you may have. Choose a package to suit you and check out the Joint Security Area, the infiltration tunnels built by North Korean troops, and Dora Mt. Observatory, where you can look directly into North Korea - one of the world's most secretive states.
