You’ll be accompanied at all times by a professional guide and you’ll have plenty of time to discover their treasures and traditions.

Avila’s outstanding attraction is the ancient walls, which have a perimeter of more than 2.5km dotted with 88 towers and nine gates. Behind this medieval bastion lies a city of immense beauty and heritage. Visit the fortified Gothic cathedral, the Convent of St Teresa of Jesus and then wander around the ancient streets.

Continue to Segovia, itself famed for its majestic Roman aqueduct. Other attractions are the Gothic cathedral and the famous Alcazar, which was one of the inspirations for Disney’s Cinderella castle.
