# This package only includes fees for “shore dive”. If you decided to do a “boat dive” for your ocean practice, an addition surcharge will be required.

※There are usually four ocean practices. 1st and 2nd practice will be “shore dive”, and then turn “boat dive” on your 3rd and 4th practice.

Become a professional diver in just FIVE steps!

# STEP 1 Make a lesson enquiry/booking

Are you prepared for a brand new challenge? Once you have booked your flight and accommodation, all you need to do is wait for the day to come and begin an exciting learning journey that’s especially designed for you!

# STEP 2 Lesson Preparations

To allow all participants have more practical time within three days. We will firstly provide you with OWD related learning materials for you beforehand. Hopefully this will allow you to have a more basic understanding about diving before we go ahead with practical practices.

In addition, we also provide E-Learning in multiple languages that you can complete your independent study at home plus reviewing it again and again until you’re familiar with it. This also allows you to be able to spend more time on practical practices rather than using up all your time on theory based learning.

# STEP 3 Learn the Theory

Welcome to Okinawa! Once you landed at the arrival hall, please search for your professional instructor standing in front of a large water tank and holding a banner with your name on it.

On your first day of arrival, this is where the theory based learning begins. This is a very important process to ensure your safety while diving.

※If you have already completed your independent study before visiting Okinawa. You have an option to attend a review class to refresh your knowledge.

# STEP 4 Swimming Pool Practice

Rather than spending time in shallow water at the beach, swimming pool practices will be a much more convenient and safer option. Indoor practices also prevent bad weather, tides or any other natural factors.

At this stage, your instructor will demonstrate basic rules on using diving equipment and practice the correct swimming gestures then heading down to the pool which is especially designed for diving practices. The pool is about 4 meters in depth, you will be learning how to freely control your movements and diving in depth.

※There will be shower rooms, lockers and dressing rooms available.

※Water temperature is usually a little low during winter seasons. If there is trouble on scheduling for a swimming pool, it is very likely that you will be required to do your practice in shallow water at the beach.

# STEP 5 Ocean Practice

After a long practice in the swimming pool and theory learning, it is finally time for practical diving in the ocean! Under the supervision of Professional Instructor, all trainees will be going through the core of diving course – Have your oxygen cylinder ready and put on your oxygen mask, it is time to explore the beauty of underwater world!

# Suitable for:

※ Participants that are 10 years old or above.

＊Note: for children between 10 – 14, a different OWD certification course will be provided.

※ Healthy and energetic individuals with basic swimming skills.

＊Note: it is also available for non-swimmers, however, only under the condition that they are willing to use oxygen cylinders.

# If your first lesson begins in the afternoon, please choose a flight that will be arriving Okinawa in the morning to avoid any delays.

# Boat dive and license application fees does not include in this learning package.

# Please carry your own towel, sandals, stationeries, sunglasses, sunscreen or any other personal appliances.

# If you choose to do boat dive on the day, there will be an additional JPY 5,000/dive.
