－What You Can Expect－

An iconic symbol of Japanese culture and heritage, the Kimono has been worn with grace by the Japanese for centuries. Now it's your turn to look the part with the one day Kyoto kimono experience. Renting your kimono early in the day there will be helpers on hand to pick out the perfect kimono for you out of hundreds of different designs. After teaching you how to dress your kimono and filling you out with accessories you'll be free to explore beautiful Kyoto, posing for the perfect snaps to share with friends and loved ones back home. Choose the deluxe kimono option at check out for an amazing collection of kimonos plus extra accessories such as the Nagoya Obi.

?Kimono Experience (Gentleman/ Lady)

Popular package plan in store – offers everything you need for your kimono experience, available for both male or female.

Includes: hadajuban (inner wear), kimono, obi (sash), obijime (sash string – for ladies), handbag, geta (clogs).

- Haori (Jacket) will be offered during Winter Seasons (December – March)

?Advanced Woman's Kimono

This package offers a higher quality kimono. Including a variety of patterns and obi selection. If you're hoping for a unique Kimono experience. This is exactly what you need!

Includes: hadajuban (inner wear), kimono, obi (sash), obijime (sash string – for ladies), handbag, geta (clogs)

- Haori (Jacket) will be offered during Winter Seasons (December – March)

- Nagoya obi (お太鼓結び)is available for exchange.

?The following package is only available during Summer:

?Yukata Experience (Male/ Female)

Summer Limited from June 1 till September 15

Includes: yukata, obi (sash), obijime (sash string – for ladies), handbag, geta (clogs)

－ Additional Info －

?Only available for guests of 145cm or above.

?Unfortunately, no Kimono/Yukata experience is available for pregnant ladies.

?Only a very limited large size Yukata/ Kimono are available. (Lady: Height 180cm/ Bust 120cm; Gentleman: Height 185cm)

?Kimono Return: Kimono can be returned next day before 6:30pm for an additional JPY 1,000 (Prior Kimono renting, a deposit of JPY 10,000 and a copy of passport/ID will be required)

?If you wish to leave your Kimono at the front desk of your accommodation, please inform the Studio before 4:00pm and have the fees paid and Kimonos ready at the front desk before 10:00am of the next day.

Fees:

1 person – JPY 2,000

2 people – JPY 1,500/person

3 People – JPY 1,000/person

?An extra surcharge of JPY 1,000/ person will incur for kimonos returned later than 6:30pm. In addition, 8:00pm is the latest time for Kimono returns.

?Your Kimono experience begins from the time you arrive at the Studio. It will take approximately an hour to complete Kimono fitting, make-up plus hair done.
